ICApplEC 2026 offers authors two participation modalities: Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation. Authors should carefully review the requirements associated with each modality before submitting their contribution.
Oral Presentation – Paper Submission
Manuscript Length:
Authors selecting the Oral Presentation modality must submit a full manuscript containing a minimum of four (4) pages, including figures, tables, and references. Papers failing to meet this requirement will be automatically rejected during the technical compliance screening.
Language:
Manuscripts may be submitted in English or Spanish. Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and high academic writing standards.
Review Process and Publication Policy:
All full-paper submissions will undergo an academic evaluation conducted by the Technical and Academic Committees. To be eligible for publication in the indexed conference proceedings of Jóvenes en la Ciencia, published by the Universidad de Guanajuato, manuscripts must strictly comply with the prescribed formatting, structural, and submission guidelines.
Presentation Requirement:
At least one author of each accepted paper must register and deliver an oral presentation during the conference. Presentation of the accepted work constitutes a mandatory requirement for final publication in the conference proceedings.
Manuscript Template
Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official conference template. The template file, including formatting instructions and style guidelines, can be downloaded from the conference website at the following link: [TEMPLATE.]. Submissions not prepared using the official template may be returned to the authors for correction prior to review.
Poster Presentation – Abstract Submission
Authors who wish to participate in ICApplEC 2026 by sharing their research without submitting a full manuscript may select the Poster Presentation modality.
Abstract Submission:
Poster participants are required to submit only a research abstract describing the main purpose of the work, methodology or approach, relevant results or expected results, and principal conclusions or contributions.
A full-length manuscript is not required for poster participation.
Purpose of the Poster Session:
The Poster Session is intended to provide students, researchers, faculty members, and professionals with an opportunity to present ongoing or completed research, exchange ideas, receive feedback, discuss results, and establish academic and professional contacts with other conference participants.
Contributions presenting preliminary results, research projects in progress, undergraduate or graduate research, technological developments, and recently completed studies are welcome.
Review Process:
Poster abstracts will be evaluated by the Technical and Academic Committees based on their relevance to the conference topics, clarity, technical or scientific contribution, and suitability for presentation during the Poster Session.
Publication Policy for Posters:
Poster presentations are intended exclusively for academic dissemination, discussion, and networking during ICApplEC 2026.
Poster abstracts and poster presentations will not be published in the conference proceedings of Jóvenes en la Ciencia.
Authors interested in having their work considered for publication in the conference proceedings must select the Oral Presentation – Paper Submission modality and submit a complete manuscript according to the corresponding guidelines.
Poster Presentation Requirement:
At least one author of each accepted poster must register and present the work during the scheduled Poster Session. Authors should be available during the assigned session to discuss their research and interact with conference participants.
